AB-730 Exam Dumps - Microsoft Certified: AI Business Professional Questions and Answers

Copilot in Microsoft Teams is designed to help users work faster by summarizing meeting content and assisting with message composition in chats and channels. Microsoft guidance highlights that Copilot can synthesize what was discussed in a meeting by generating a structured recap that includes key points, decisions, and action items. This directly matches option C . Copilot can also help you respond more quickly in Teams conversations by drafting replies grounded in the context of the existing chat or channel thread, which matches option D .

Options A and B are not Copilot capabilities. Muting and unmuting participants is a meeting control function handled by Teams meeting roles and settings, and it is not automatically driven by Copilot based on participant location. Creating custom backgrounds is a Teams visual feature (and can involve Designer or image tools), but it is not a Copilot-in-Teams productivity function for summarization or drafting based on conversation context.

Therefore, the two tasks you can achieve using Copilot in Teams are generating meeting summaries with decisions and action items, and drafting responses to channel messages based on conversation context.

To generate an effective monthly summary with Copilot in Excel, Microsoft prompting guidance emphasizes two core elements: clear intent and expected output structure . First, you should state the goal explicitly—such as “summarize total sales by month based on OrderDate and Amount, and highlight month-over-month changes.” This directs Copilot to the correct aggregation and analysis behavior (Option D).

Second, specifying the desired format improves usability and reduces ambiguity. For example, requesting “a table with Month, Total Sales, Number of Orders, and Average Order Value” or “a bulleted executive summary plus a small summary table” ensures Copilot returns results in a format you can immediately use (Option A).

A specific cell range (Option B) is usually unnecessary when the data is already in a recognized Excel table, because Copilot can work from the table context. The workbook file name (Option C) does not help analysis. Providing a formula (Option E) is not required because Copilot can compute monthly totals; formulas are optional if you want a specific calculation method, but they are not the best prompt ingredients for an effective summary.

Therefore, the best answers are A and D .

Agents created in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app are primarily designed for use within the Copilot Chat experience and related Copilot surfaces, not directly embedded inside individual applications like Word. Therefore, such agents are not automatically available in Microsoft Word, making Statement 1 incorrect.

However, these agents are designed for collaboration and reuse within an organization. Microsoft guidance confirms that agents can be shared with other users in the same tenant , allowing teams to leverage common tools, prompts, and knowledge sources. Hence, Statement 2 is correct.

For advanced automation scenarios involving complex workflows and third-party connectors, Microsoft provides Copilot Studio rather than the standard Copilot app. The Copilot app focuses on lightweight agent creation using natural language, files, and simple configurations. It does not support complex orchestration with external connectors. Therefore, Statement 3 is incorrect.

Thus, the correct answers are No, Yes, No .

When transcription is not enabled , Microsoft 365 Copilot in Teams cannot access a full historical record of the meeting conversation. Copilot relies on transcript data to provide complete summaries and recaps. Without transcription, Copilot can still assist during the meeting , but only from the point at which it is activated.

Copilot does not automatically activate at the start of the meeting; a user must explicitly invoke it. Once activated, Copilot processes the live conversation stream and can generate summaries, key points, or insights from that moment forward only . It cannot reconstruct earlier discussion because no transcript exists for prior content.

Options B and D are incorrect because they assume automatic activation and full-meeting recap capability, which require transcription. Option A is incorrect because Copilot summarizes the meeting content, not just the speech of the activating user.

Therefore, the correct answer is C .

Enterprise data protection (EDP) (often referred to as commercial data protection) is the capability that ensures Microsoft 365 Copilot handles organizational data under enterprise security and privacy guarantees. With EDP, Copilot processes prompts and responses within the customer’s Microsoft 365 boundary, respecting tenant isolation and identity-based access controls. This means Copilot only retrieves and uses data that the signed-in user is permitted to access, and the data remains governed by Microsoft 365 compliance features (such as retention, eDiscovery, audit, and Purview controls). Critically, EDP ensures that your organization’s prompts and the retrieved business content are not used to train the underlying AI foundation models. This is essential for protecting confidential business information and meeting regulatory and contractual requirements. The other options (Common Data Model, sensitivity labels, and Zero Trust) support data structure, classification, and security posture, but they do not specifically represent the Copilot guarantee that tenant data stays protected and is not used for model training.

suggested prompts

In Microsoft 365 Copilot, suggested prompts are designed to help users get started quickly and interact with an agent effectively. Microsoft guidance for Copilot agents emphasizes that many users struggle most at the beginning—knowing what to ask, how to phrase requests, and how to take advantage of an agent’s purpose. Suggested prompts address this by providing ready-to-use examples that demonstrate the best ways to engage the agent for its intended scenarios.

Suggested prompts also act as lightweight “guardrails” for good prompting. They show users the expected input patterns, the types of tasks the agent can perform, and the kinds of outputs they can request. This accelerates adoption and improves the quality of results by steering users toward well-structured requests and appropriate context.

By contrast, capabilities describe what an agent can do (tools/features), instructions define how the agent should behave, and agent settings control configuration. None of those are primarily meant to help users begin conversations through example starters.

Therefore, the correct completion is suggested prompts .

In Microsoft 365 Copilot, a notebook is a workspace intended to organize and ground related Copilot work. Microsoft guidance describes notebooks as a way to bring together multiple conversations and keep them aligned to the same set of reference materials—such as documents, notes, links, or other resources—so you don’t have to repeatedly attach or restate the same context. This improves consistency and prompt-grounding across a set of related tasks (for example, managing a project, developing a proposal, or maintaining a recurring report).

Option B correctly captures this purpose: a notebook provides a private, organized location where reference materials can be curated and reused across related Copilot conversations.

Option A is incorrect because notebooks are not primarily designed to generate email-ready transcripts of conversations. Option C is incorrect because generating a summary of interactions is a conversation-level function; notebooks are broader organizational containers for materials and related workstreams, not a “summary generator” of a single chat thread.

Therefore, the purpose of a notebook is to organize reference materials across related conversations.

Copilot in Outlook is designed to reduce time spent reading and writing email by using AI to summarize message threads and generate drafts grounded in the current email context. Microsoft guidance for Copilot in Outlook highlights core capabilities such as drafting replies that reflect the conversation tone and content, and summarizing email threads or inbox content so users can quickly understand what requires action.

Option B is correct because Copilot can generate a draft reply based on the context of the email conversation, helping you respond faster while keeping the response aligned to what was discussed. Option C is correct because Copilot can summarize emails—such as unread messages or a thread—by extracting key points, requests, decisions, and suggested next steps, which supports rapid triage.

Option A is not a Copilot task; inserting or customizing an HTML signature is a standard Outlook configuration feature. Option D is also a traditional Outlook management function and is not an AI drafting/summarization capability.

Therefore, the two tasks you can achieve with Copilot in Outlook are drafting responses and summarizing unread emails .

In Microsoft 365 Copilot, agents such as Researcher are accessed through the Agents experience within the Copilot app. If the user interface does not immediately display a specific agent, the correct action is to browse or search the available agents catalog. The exhibit shows the left navigation pane with an Explore agents option.

According to Microsoft AI Business Professional guidance, built-in and custom agents can be discovered and enabled through the Explore agents section. If the user already has the appropriate Copilot license and is signed in with their work account, there is no need to switch accounts or request another license.

Signing in through a browser does not change feature availability, and using a personal account would remove access to organizational features. Therefore, to access the Researcher agent, you should select Explore agents and search for Researcher.

Microsoft 365 Copilot can use Microsoft Graph-grounded data (based on the user’s permissions) to help users work with Microsoft 365 content. This includes surfacing and summarizing information from Teams chats , so statement 1 is true. Copilot can also summarize and generate content related to Teams meetings (for example, meeting recap details, key discussion points, and follow-up actions when meeting artifacts such as transcript/notes are available), and it can answer questions and draft related content—so statement 3 is true.

Statement 2 is false because, while Copilot can draft emails and help prepare messages, it does not independently schedule and send emails automatically “based on conditions” as a native Copilot function. Conditional sending is typically handled through workflow automation tools (for example, Power Automate) and still requires appropriate configuration, permissions, and governance. In enterprise environments, this separation helps reduce risk by ensuring that automated outbound communication remains controlled, auditable, and compliant.
